Electronic Circuit Protection

The ESX10-T Series circuit protectors have remote reset capabilities that operate through the use of an electronic signal. These circuit protection devices are compact and combine electronic trip characteristics and active current limitation to allow selective disconnection of loads that are connected to 24VDC power supplies. Selective load protection prevents complete shutdown of the system by quickly disconnecting the faulty path when an overload or short circuit occurs.

416D and 411D Laser Distance Meters

Want to determine the distance between two objects? Need to calculate area or volume? No need to learn how to read a tape measure or ruler, the Fluke Laser distance meters do the work for you.

Introducing two new Fluke Laser Distance Meters. The Fluke 416D and 411D are professional-grade laser distance meters — they’re fast, easy to use, and they fit on your tool belt. These meters will save you effort and money by reducing measurement time and errors!

Use Fluke laser distance meters to quickly and accurately determine the distance to your target, the area bounded by two distances, or the volume within three measurements:

  • Reduce estimation errors, saving time and money
  • Instant measurements of the distance between two objects with one-button operation
  • Quick calculations of distance formulas such as area (square feet/meters) and volume
  • Easy performance of distance addition and subtraction calculations

Laser distance meters are better than ultrasonic devices because they use laser light waves and measure their reflection to accurately determine distances:

  • Most advanced technology for measuring distances
  • More accurate and measure longer distances
  • Confidently measure up to 60 m (200 ft) with 1.5 mm (1/16 in) accuracy (416D)
  • Rugged and reliable as customers expect from Fluke products

Low Voltage Inverter - SINAMICS G120/SINAMICS G120D

The modular single drive for small and medium output ranges

The SINAMICS G120 frequency inverter for the 0.37 to 90 kW output range has a modular structure and is equipped with a multitude of new functions, setting a new standard in safety, communication capability and energy recovery for general performance inverters.
The SINAMICS G120D with its cabinetless design, is an inverter with IP65 protection and is the “distributed” brother of the already known SINAMICS G120 series. It has inherited its advantages such as modularity and innovative safety technology (Safety Integrated) and complements the range as a result of the well-conceived design with a high degree of protection. Thanks to the wide range of power ratings up to 7.5kW almost all inverter-related applications can be consequentially designed without electrical cabinets. Digital inputs and outputs at the unit allow sensors and actuators to be directly connected-up at the drive. The input signals can either be directly processed in the inverter and autonomous (independent) local responses can be initiated - or the input signals can be transferred to a central control via PROFIBUS/PROFINET - where they are processed in the context of the complete plant or system.

New Vision Sensor - Checker™ 232 Series by Cognex - Small, Smart, Simple and Powerful!

Cognex has added a new model, the Checker® 232,  to its award-winning Checker vision sensor product line. Designed to inspect small features over a wide area, Checker 232 provides reliable inspection results on the fastest production lines, detecting and inspecting up to 1,500 parts per minute.
Checker 232 is ideal for applications where small features are being inspected on large parts, such as the inspection of clips and springs on large automotive assemblies.  Checker 232 is also ideal when a much longer working distance is needed and the vision sensor must be mounted far from the area to be inspected.  The Checker 232 extends the versatility of the Checker product line so customers can solve a broader range of inspection applications more effectively.

Unlike traditional sensors, there's no limit to the number of part features that a single Checker can inspect.  Checker uses patent-pending multi-image analysis to determine if a part is present without an external trigger, greatly simplifying installation. This unique capability also enables Checker to track parts in varying positions along the production line, overcoming imprecise part positioning and delivering consistent, precisely timed pass/fall results. No other sensor, vision sensor, or vision system can do this.

The Checker 200 series is simple to set up, small enough to fit almost anywhere, and is rated  at IP67 protection. Checker 232 joins three existing 200 series models: The Checker 200 for part detection, the Checker 201 for part detection and inspection, the Checker 202, with ladder logic when more complex pass / fail decisions are needed. The Checker 232 combines the features of the 202 with the ability to inspect smaller features over a larger area. Checker 201, 202 and 232 are available with the Cognex SensorViewTM 350, a compact, industrial, panel-mount display. The Checker 232 is currently available.

SureCross™ DX80 Wireless Modules

The SureCross™ DX80 wireless system provides reliable monitoring without the burden of wiring or conduit installation, and can operate independently or in conjunction with a PLC and/or PC software.

The SureCross DX80 network is a deterministic system - the network identifies when the radio signal is lost and drives relevant outputs to user-defined conditions. Once the radio signal is reacquired, the network returns to normal operation.

Each wireless system consists of one Gateway and one or more Nodes that ship with factory predefined inputs and outputs. Devices may be all discrete I/O, mixed discrete and analog I/O, and FlexPower™.

A Gateway device acts as the master device within each radio network system. The Gateway initiates communication and reporting with the Nodes.

A radio network contains only one Gateway, but can contain many Nodes. Each Node device can be connected to a sensor or output device and reports I/O status to the Gateway.

A Gateway and Node can be arranged to extend the range of the network or to avoid obstacles in the transmission path. The Gateway receives a transmission from one Node and forwards it to another Node positioned to avoid the obstacle.

Host-connected systems can contain up to 15 nodes within a single network and may be all discrete or a mix of discrete and analog I/O. Host-connected systems allow for logic and calculations to be applied to the I/O. Inputs from Nodes within the network are transmitted to the Gateway, which communicates the information to a host device for processing. While the Gateway is the master device within the radio network, the Gateway is a slave to the Modbus network.

FlexPower devices allow for a true wireless solution as the Node can be powered by line power (10 to 30V dc) or battery power (3.6 to 5.5V dc). A SureCross DX81 battery pack and unique power management system runs the Node and a device for up to five years, depending upon the power requirements of the device. Battery life is application specific. Contact Banner Engineering’s application engineers for a battery life calculation for your specific application.
