Industrial Electronic Supply, Inc. (IES) is a privately owned regional distributor specializing in industrial controls, automation, drives, power distribution and instrumentation.  We’ve been delivering quality products, supported by superior service, for more than 50 years, and currently have ten stocking locations in five states, including: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas.

We continue to expand our services and product lines, in addition to adding new branches, as well as the skilled personnel essential to support the manufacturing, processing, institutional, and commercial operations of our customers.

Below are just a few of the reasons our current employees said they enjoy being part of the IES team...

It sounds cliché, but it’s true.  Our staff is like a family (even though it has grown a great deal over the last 50 years - and continues to do so).  We truly value each individual and their contributions to our company and our customers.  We especially value the relationships.  Our team works closely, relies on each other, and tends to stick together - much like family.  As a result, an impressive number of employees have been with us more than 10, 20, 30, even 40 years!

As an industrial distributor, IES partners with hundreds of suppliers to stock, sell, and deliver products and services that companies and manufacturers need to operate.

We have the privilege of serving customers (including many Fortune 500 companies) from a variety of industries, including:

  • Automotive
  • Building Products
  • Food & Beverage
  • Oil & Gas
  • Petro Chem
  • Power Generation
  • Pulp & Paper
  • Roofing Materials
  • Steel
  • Water & Wastewater

Each industry impacts the U.S. Economy, and can even play a role in national security, which makes supplying the products and processes essential to their success, that much more meaningful.

For the most part, IES employees work Monday through Friday.  Working weekends is rare, and it is almost unheard of to miss a holiday with your family.

We understand that vacations and time off are vital to health, happiness, and productivity - as is the need for occasional flexibility - particularly in the event of medical or family emergencies.

Politics and red tape are not part of our culture.  Our team of managers works directly with our CEO/Owner, who keeps his door open to all employees.

  • Competitive salary, as well as commissions and profit sharing where applicable
  • Health Insurance –  IES pays 80% of the employee’s premium, and 50% of the family’s
  • Life Insurance – $15,000 policy included with health coverage for eligible employees
  • Long-Term Disability Insurance – IES pays 100% of the premium for employees with 5 or more years of employment to protect against loss of income because of illness or injury.
  • 401(k) – IES provides a 401(k) plan for eligible, full time employees after one year of employment, as well as available profit-sharing
  • Vacation and Holidays – Full time employees enjoy nine paid holidays each year, plus paid vacation time after the first full year of employment.

At IES, we recognize that your skills and knowledge are crucial to your success, as well as ours.  We often allow, and even encourage you, to pursue training opportunities, and to take advantage of available resources in order to enhance your effectiveness on the job, while in turn widening your career path.  In fact, we pay 100% of the cost of any training you attend at our request, as well as for time spent in such activities.
