Industrial Electronic Supply Inc. was established in 1963 as a wholesale distributor supported by the radio, television, and broadcast repair parts business. At the request of many of the local area industrial customers we began to stock more and more industrial electronic products to fill their product and production needs. As the radio, television, and broadcast parts business began to fade into cheap non-repairable products, we made a complete transition to industrial products for our industrial customer base.
Between 1965 and 1978 we began to acquire many of the leading brands of electronic and electrical product lines for industry. During this same period we expanded our market area to support even more industrial customers.
In 1979 we made a major commitment to market computerized high technology products and to provide technical application assistance and training along with our traditional MRO products.
By 1981 we began opening branch locations to better serve our customers that then covered a five state area.
In 1987 we started developing new systems and internal processes, software and hardware to improve our ability to meet our customer’s needs.
In the 1990’s we made a strong commitment to improve the long term value of the company through quality improvement processes.
In the 2000’s due to the continuing technology expansion we began adding more engineers and application specialist to our staff to help support customer needs on these state of the art products.
In the future we will continue to add branch locations, application and sales engineering personnel and the products you need to keep your manufacturing, processing, institutional, and commercial operations going. |
