RiLineX Busbar System – Unlimited Possibilities for Power Distribution

RiLineX Busbar System for power distribution

The Future Standard in Power Distribution:  RiLineX – The Power Platform

RiLineX is the new 60 mm busbar system platform for power distribution in industry, buildings and infrastructure – manufacturer-neutral and license-free. This makes it suitable for use in almost all sectors because it adapts individually to virtually any requirement.

The standardized boards may be flexibly extended as needed. The fully integrated contact hazard protection to IP 2Xb, upgradable to IP 4X, ensures maximum protection and minimises the level of product and system expertise needed for planning and installation. In this way, RiLineX sets new standards in power distribution, helping to future-proof your company for the challenges of the energy sector.

  • Up to 800 A
  • Tool-free installation
  • Short-circuit resistance up to 65 kA
  • Full contact hazard protection
  • Standardized flat copper bars

Why choose RiLineX?

With pre-assembled boards, tool-free plug-in tech, and modular adapters, the RiLineX busbar system offers quicker installs, fewer errors, and faster project turnarounds than
the traditional busbar system compared in a third-party study.

Modular by Design. The basic system may be individually connected without using tools, or purchased as a fully pre-assembled board. It’s never been easier to assemble 60 mm busbar systems:

Define your system assembly with the configuration tool.
Fit the complete RiLineX board into the enclosure.

Alternatively:

  1. Compile your own individual RiLineX board using components from our modular system.
  2. Cut flat copper busbars to the required length and insert into the board.
  3. Finally, fit the contact hazard protection covers.
  4. Mount the bespoke board solution in the enclosure.
  5. Populate the fitted basic system (RiLineX board) with the component adaptors.

Done!

  • Contact hazard protection to IP 2Xb
  • Upgradable to IP 4X at the front
  • Guaranteed, tested system properties (such as short-circuit resistance up to 65 kA)
  • Suitable for applications in the range up to 1000 V AC and 1500 V DC

  • Save up to 30 % on engineering with Eplan
  • Save up to 75 % on assembly
  • Shortest response times for all types of projects
  • Simple assembly logic plus a reduced portfolio means reduced complexity
  • Suitable for global use with approvals to IEC 61439 and UL 508A

  • Manufacturer-neutral system platform
  • Licence-free, open platform for popular technologies from our partners
  • Less product expertise required
  • Open data records for manufacturing suitable components

  • Downward-compatible to RiLine60 switches and devices
  • Component adaptors available for all well-known component providers
  • Structure and length freely selectable within the system grid

Still Wiring Panels the Hard Way?

Traditional block-and-cable power distribution can eat up panel space, add labor, complicate expansion, and make future maintenance harder than it needs to be. Rittal’s new whitepaper explains how modular busbar systems can simplify design, reduce wiring complexity, lower installation costs, improve safety, free up valuable panel space, and make upgrades easier over the life of the system. If you’re looking for a more efficient, scalable approach to control panel power distribution, this whitepaper shows where busbar can deliver the biggest impact.
